This apron 12x 4/5” oil pastel study is yet again an artwork created in an inspiring time led by all the other oil pastel artworks I created - what’s so cool about this study is that I wanted to use as many diffent values via oil pastels layer next to one another and I thought this study of Sorolla would do fair justice to this piece. I was very very pleased as it took a lot of unlearning to from traditional painting techniques and I got a tapestry of this beautiful piece.
